Todays I’m going to talk about all the things, and by all the things I mean the must haves, the heavy hitters, the “I could not L I V E with out this” items when having to small children under two! So let’s jump in shall we?
Fawn Design Diaper Bag
If you know me or have followed me and my blog since having my daughter you know this is my go to, my holy grail baby product. I live for this thing. And with two under two, both of which who are still in diapers? You need this, or any large sized diaper bag. It holds everything you need for both babies and yourself. Diapers, wipes, snacks, toys, water cups, bottles, and any thing else I could need. What goes in our diaper bag changes depending on where we’re going and for how long. But I know I’ll always have the space I need in it!
I love to baby wear. I mean love it. As long as women have been having babies, we’ve been wearing them. It made my life 10x easier to wear Kassius when he was tiny because I was also still chasing emilia around. Now I still baby wear them both if the need extra snuggles. When baby wearing I prefer my WildBird or SollyBaby wrap. I liked solly better when my babies were tiny and my wildbird from about 6 months and up. Personal choice seeing as how both are okay to use with newborns and up to 35lbs.
I have this stroller, and I like it a lot, but with that being said if i had know about this brand first I would have gotten this one. The only reason I didn’t was because I needed a stroller Kash’s infant car seat could snap into, but he’s about to out grow that seat and will need a new one soon. I still do like the one I have but I prefer the side by side.
Whats a car kit? Let me break it down for you. It’s all the things. Extra diapers, baby carrier, clothes, wipes, toys, hand sanitizer, wet wipes. Anything I could have forgotten in a mad rush out the door is in there. I also change it out with the seasons, in the summer we keep sunscreen, bug spray and swim suits. While in the winter its extra coats socks and hats.
I cant live without our sound machines. Both kids have the Hatch baby sound machine in their room which is great bc they don’t alway nap at the same times. Kassius takes three naps a day while Emilia takes one and sometimes they just don’t overlap. The sound machines come in handy when one is napping and the other isn’t. We also have a portable one I keep in the car for Kash.
Lots of love from the Tar Heel State
