My go-to outfit for humid NC days

Shirt under $30 and comes in 20+ colors // Top // Watch & Watch band // Sunglasses

I’ve lived in North Carolina my entire life, so humid summer days is nothing that has and will never be new to me, but spending this summer pregnant has been an eye-opening experience into the heat and humidity of the summer. Y’all. It’s hot. And I’m talking sweating from every pore on my body as soon as I step a foot out my lovely air-conditioned house hot. This summer has been a rough one for sure and since stepping outside often feels like stepping into a steaming shower well until late September, and sometimes even later than that, I’ve found a few workarounds to keep me sane in the meantime. For one, you may notice my hair is in some form of up-do 80% of the time. (Examples: herehere and here.) Another necessity? Light breezy outfits, i.e. anything but pants, please!

This skirt fits the bill, and I’m loving the vibrate color of it. Best of all? It’s an amazon find and it’s under $30. I’ve worn it with everything from sneakers for grocery store runs, to sandals for a date night, and even as a pool cover-up. At this rate, I have a feeling it’s going to see a lot more use over the next few years because it’s non-maternity!

Lots of love from the Tar Heel State,

Brittany
