I’ve had a hard time getting back into blogging lately. Life just keeps getting in the way, but that’s just how it is sometimes. So, because of my absence, today’s post is apart of my “Darling Gossip” series here on the blog. And I have a new format on how I’m going to go about it.
These posts used to take a lot of time and effort so they never got posted as I wanted them to. However, I’m hoping to be better about them now. And if you’re new here and don’t know what I’m talking about the Darling Gossip is a life update of a sort where I used to just pour out a brain dump of information into a post and that was it. It was messy and all over the place so I’m finally adding a map to follow and make more sense of the madness.

Life Lately
Life, in general, has been an absolute whirlwind. Emilia will be two months old on the 13th, the time has been flying by and my baby is getting so big! But that’s still a week and some change away. We had a doctors appointment recently with a surgeon to look at her belly button. Her umbilical cord fell off prematurely and we’re having a doctor look at it to make sure it’s healing and won’t need any special treatments as a precaution.
Also, that week (Thursday, July 11th), Brandon’s brothers, uncle, and grandmother all flew in from Texas/Kansas to meet her for the first time so July is about to be a very busy month for us. But before all
It was a fun but very hot day. The next two days were also filled with parties and catching up and going out with work friends will the grandmas took turns watching the baby so we could go out and enjoy some adult time.

I ordered these boots from the Nordstrom sale. They’re actually the only thing I got this year! I wanted them last year but they sold out in my size and didn’t restock until after the sale and I couldn’t bring my self to pay full price
This Soap & Glory face wash has become a recent favorite of mine. It takes off all my make up, smells amazing, and leaves my skin feeling so clean!
That’s all for today, friends! I’m off to run errands and then catch up on emails. Brandon is working late this weekend, so I plan on binge watching NCIS and folding some long-overdue laundry!
